Need help with skill chaining quest
I'm new to GW and started a monk. In order to get my monk insignia i need to complete the monk training. My last training is called skill chaining and I cannot seem to finish it.
You have to defeat 2 enemies but they keep healing each other. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks |

Basically you need to dish out some damage while staying alive, I don't think the quest really has anything to do with chaining.
Do you have any smiting skills yet? If so, max out smiting and have enough healing to survive and see if you can beat them with that. Otherwise look at dealing damage with your 2nd profession. |

It is easy. Just set yourself to maximal damage and try to kill the masters. They aren't so tough, unless you use the skills master Go gave
You don't have to follow their rules either. Just get them below 50% health. This goes for every insignia quest. Use breeze to heal yourself, and smite them to smithereens |

Yeah, it is unfortunate that something that Anet could use as at least a brief tutorial for teaching some fundamental player skills really is worthless. Even if you do setup and use a skill chain the NPC just spouts some nonsense and you continue until you deal enough damage.
The disenchant one is a joke as well, my elem/assassin had one remove enchantment skill and I removed Life Sheath any number of times but apparently the lesson was really one of killing the NPC foe, not just removing an enchantment. When I went thru with my necro/ranger I started by laying Fire Trap at their feet and raising minions from the provided corpses while they were still friendly, then activated the quest to turn them hostile. Needless to say dealing damage wasn't an issue for that toon. The "survive for 2 minutes" test was OK I guess, but I suppose I could still just have killed them instead of defending myself. |

I think you only have to last 2 min for any of them. whatever the case, even for the survive one, all you have to do is kill to 50% and it will end.
